Saguaro National Park is located just outside of Tucson, Arizona. There are two separate areas of the park — West and East Saguaro.
We were in West Saguaro which is northish-west of Tucson, while East Tucson is directly east of Tucson.
Saguaros can get pretty old. Some are over 150 years old. It may take 75–100 years for them to grow their first arm. They can grow over 40 feet and one of the tallest was recorded at 78 feet.
