Soar

Distraction

She was light…

soaring above ego

She held her wand

Returning tasks

Mirroring the wounded

Her flight fueled

By intuition

Until shiny objects

Entice

Her eyes aware

Her heart stays the course

Blind lovers

Risk to rush

Into the lengthy stream

Of her conscious

A wall, to many.

But obstacle, to few.

She soars with bound wings

But he carries the curse

That will set her …

Free?

Or is it already there

Inside the tight rope

That grounds the flight

A loose knot

That only she can untie.
