I love world literature. Fiction gives you a feeling for a country – its past, its people, its pain. But every bookshop seems to sell the same old books. How do you find something really new?
That’s why I am reading a book from every country in the world: from A to Z. Here are the highlights so far.
This is an amazing story telling the story of a migrant’s journey from Eritrea, racing across the Sahara chased by gangs, abused by smugglers in Libya, and preparing for the deadly journey across the Med.
Beautifully written and terribly poignant.
