Introduction

Bbuilding a small business is one of the most creative things you’ll ever do. I think there’s only one thing human beings can do that’s more creative than building a business and that’s making babies. Just like bringing a child into the world, it starts with a dream in your head and then you give it form in the real world and just like you have to guide your child through the terrible two’s and early school and adolescence, so too with your business and ultimately we have to let our child as well as our business go out into the world, independently (even though they’ll come back for Sunday night dinners and having their laundry done for a while yet)
