The Little Biddy’s Book of Trifles

biddy

[bid-ee]

noun, plural biddies

a fussbudget, especially an old fussy woman

trifle

[try-ful]

verb (used without object) trifled, trifling

to deal lightly or without due seriousness or respect

1. It’s always cold

Biddies only exist comfortably in the narrow temperature band between seventy-four and eighty-eight degrees Fahrenheit (23 ° to 31 ° C).

The above figures above also coincide with the typical age of free-range biddies.

In addition to warm outerwear, a properly outfitted biddy needs the following, at minimum:

  • shawl
  • headscarf
  • electric heating pad
  • car travel blanket
  • warm fuzzy slippers

Biddies must be kept far away from air-conditioning vents and other sources of moving air. This is a particular challenge when transporting one’s biddy.

Many consider UPS Ground the safest route for biddy transport.
