Urgency: Overcoming Lack of Time Mentality

Time poverty.

Our culture seems to thrive on being time poor.

If I believe God’s word is true and He promises to supply all my needs than I cannot possibly not have enough time.

I’m on a journey to remove any type of “lack” or poverty thinking from my life. I plan to write a little each day as part of that process.

Ways God highlighted He can overcome what I see as lack of time.

  1. I was given a direct number to resolve an issue rather than having to start at the bottom.

I need to make time.

I’m pondering if this is a lack mentality or not. Since God created time and I’m made in His image maybe it’s not.

I think it’s more the spirit behind the desire to make time. I too often think it in a bit of a panic, feeling stressed and overwhelmed.

If it is intentional planning out to make time for something important then I don’t think it is lack thinking.

So I can keep the thought “I need to make time.” I need to be aware of the motive and emotions around making time.
