Intro.

I write at length on the weekends and a lot of the time I talk about my experience so far with Iron Tribe.

Going to give this Series deal a shot with shorter updates focused specifically on my workouts, eating habits, body changes, and wellness.

This is #WhyITribe

Here’s a quick rundown to get caught up:

I completed Iron Tribe’s 101 class in December of 2016. Then started the regular class schedule on January 2, 2017.

For a point of reference with my physical fitness, I could not perform a strict pull-up at that time.

Since then I have improved the following lifts by:

Front Squat — 120% Back Squat — 106% Power Clean — 48% Deadlift — 38% Hang Clean — 35%

And yes, I can do a pull-up now. In fact, this past month I have gotten the kipping pull-up down.

Muscle-ups, you’re next!

I miss the Tribe and my tribe members on the weekends. But there is something to be said about exercising outside by yourself.

In the sun today, I enjoyed -

3 Rounds of:

20 Forward Lunges 20 Air Squats 20 Backward Lunges 20 second Plank hold 20 second Hollow Body hold 20 second Superman hold

And because I started this today, here’s what I did yesterday too.

3 Rounds of:

100 Russian Twists 50 Sit-ups 30 Push-ups And Day 5 of Yoga with Adriene’s 30 Days of Yoga.

Tomorrow I plan to do Day 6 and maybe Day 7 before the Memorial Day festivities begin.
