Serverless Zone — A Place for Community Stories
Serverless has become a “hot” buzzword lately, especially since ServerlessConf.
The conference was a blast, and I learned plenty of new tricks talking to attendees (and from the talks). Surprisingly, some folks asked me about guest posting on Serverless Code. While putting together instructions for guest posting, I thought it’d be better if writers kept control over their posts instead of sending me Markdown.
Instead of guest posts, this Medium organization is going to be the venue for guest posts and other content. Serverless Zone exists for three reasons:
- To accept guest posts from anyone in the community, well known or not.
- To be one place for curious people to learn what serverless is and find use cases, tips, and patterns
- Because Serverless Code is harder to contribute guest posts to than it should be
If you’ve got a post that you’d like to contribute, email or tweet at me and I’ll add you as a writer. If you’ve already posted something, that’s fine: the idea is to get more great stuff in one place.
The Rules:
- No sales pitches — there’s a difference between teaching a platform and selling a product.
- Posts have to be related to serverless.
- You have to be the author, or have permission to repost the story. Always link to the original for good measure.
Cheers, and happy writing! -Ryan
