Introducing Sesame’s simple, straightforward new look

Over the past year, the Sesame team has taken a hard look at some of the most complex parts of healthcare. We’ve worked with doctors, clinicians, and experts to imagine a simpler, clearer, and more transparent way. No mark-ups, hidden fees, or denials. And no insurance needed. Just clear, quality care at transparent prices.

This week, we took the first step towards defining the future of healthcare. We launched Sesame’s new brand and broke into new markets in Houston and New York City.

The brand you see today reflects our core mission: to create a radically simple, transparent, and straightforward destination to access quality care.

Healthcare is an industry that can — and must — transform to meet the demands of the modern consumer. That’s exactly what Sesame and our new brand aim to do. Our ambition is to create a modern consumer brand that puts power back in the hands of people, not systems, so that everyone can access quality care.

Through integrated design strategies, messaging, and a complete rebrand, we’re building a destination for people looking for a new way to think about healthcare, without the inefficiencies that make seeing the doctor or getting an MRI or refilling a prescription so frustrating.

We value simplicity.

Healthcare is complex. Sesame is simple. You’ll see our simplicity in Sesame’s refined color palette, our bold and straightforward copy, and our no-nonsense approach to talking about quality care, how to access it, and what it costs.

We value accessibility.

Healthcare is a deeply personal, yet alienating part of everyday life. Sesame is a direct challenge to that, so it’s important that everything we create feels accessible. You’ll see that reflected in the way we use premium object imagery, how we talk about doctor visits and what goes into the cost of a service, and our refined on-site navigation and familiar check-out flow.

We value humanity.

Sesame is built for patients, and our design reflects that. Unlike other online healthcare companies, Sesame prioritizes the quality of care above all else. We know the value of human connection — especially when it comes to your health. You’ll see that reflected in our straightforward brand tone, our diverse photography and portraiture, and the way we highlight the brilliant doctors and clinicians who care for patients on Sesame.
