GRID X — A partnership and co-branded card program
Troncard is proud to introduce GRID X, a partnership and co-branded card program. The program is designed to provide more value to the Troncard payment ecosystem by opening the platform to qualified projects and their TRON tokens.
What is GRID?
GRID is a card powered by the TRON blockchain. A prepaid solution to buying, holding and gifting TRX. GRID earns a standard interest rate, is easy to use and is recoverable if lost or stolen once its been registered. GRID has no fees, is anonymous and secure.
Co-branded GRID card interest rates may vary according to agreements with developer partners.
Partnerships add value
Through meaningful partnerships, GRID will enable greater flexibility to the Troncard payment ecosystem. Developers wishing to leverage the payment platform will submit a request to Troncard. A review board will then conduct an examination of the project prior to approving the application to ensure only complete and comprehensive projects are brought forth to the Troncard platform.
Partnership requirements
To ensure the highest quality projects utilize the Troncard platform, developers will need to meet several requirements such as, account creation and manufacturing costs, and funding reserves. Full details will be provided on a follow up article.
Design requirements
Troncard intends to create a simple process for designing co-branded GRID cards. Projects that advance beyond the evaluation stage will be provided with design materials and guides to help with developing their card. If approved, cards will be manufactured and made available for purchase on the Troncard marketplace.
Troncard is dedicated to promoting the adoption and integration of digital currencies into daily life, and making purchasing with digital assets as simple as using a credit card is today, with additional rewards and features those credit cards can’t offer. Troncard, GRID, and GRID X are built to facilitate that vision.
