The Harmony blockchain is now part of the SEED rewards economy
Sesameseed is an elected Harmony validator and the node is fully operational. This is a big accomplishment, and Sesameseed would like to take the time to recognize this would not have happened without the active support and help of the community. This success demonstrates once again that Sesameseed’s community-first values serve a critical need in blockchain governance. By coming together behind Sesameseed, the community has a voice that is being heard!
Harmony ONE is being added to the redeem value of SEED on a daily basis. As with other tokens in the redeem value, the amount of ONE will continue to grow over time. All SEED holders will now benefit from having ONE added to the redeem value daily, as will TRX and ONT stakers who hold or earn SEED. SEED continues to be the only multi-chain staking rewards token and provides competitive rewards on all represented blockchains.
The Harmony campaign is not over. Several individual validators did not receive enough stake to become elected and will now be looking for other community-based validators to support. Sesameseed will be continuing to rely on the community to help explain to delegators how supporting a community representative fosters decentralization, builds the network, and creates a more robust blockchain . As a resource for the community, Sesameseed has developed a one page document full of links that will allow new community members to learn about Sesameseed.
Sesameseed’s focus will now be ensuring the functionalities of the core utilities the community has come to expect from SEED and ensuring the Harmony nodes are functioning as efficiently as possible. Sesameseed will continue to keep the community updated throughout this rollout and is grateful for the community’s continued support.
