Battery Park

It is a famous park in lower Manhattan. I went to Battery park at 6: 00 pm, which is a good time because it’s a great place to see the sunset.

The park was crowded, many people were siting on benches, taking photos, talking to families and friends. Other people were strolling, and a man was fishing.

You can feel the cold wind, see the sun hiding behind the Statue of Liberty, and listen to seagulls that fly over the park.

Close by the park, is Battery Garden, a delicious small restaurant. Another place near by the park is Gigino, a famous Italian restaurant.

If you walk along the park, can see and listen many boats passing through the majestic Hudson River.

This is a perfect place to go to relax and see a beautiful landscape alone or with your friends and your family.
