The latest SessionStack adds a support toolkit and new installation options

Exciting news! We just released the first version of our customer support toolkit, allowing support, customer success teams (and basically anybody who is responsible for helping customers out) to be able to interact with their session and guide the customer towards achieving their goals.

We also launched our new installation UI which makes it easier for you to see what are the different installation options in SessionStack.

Support Toolkit

The first version of the support toolking includes two features:

  • The Pen tool allows you to draw on the screen of the player after which SessionStack performs the exact same drawings on the screen of the user. This allows you to easily point to elements/things while helping the user achieve their goal.
  • The Pointer tool allows you to point the attention to the user on different sections in the web app, by moving your cursor and clicking. When you’re moving your cursor, the user will see it and when you click, it will be properly visualized to bring the attention of the user to the proper location.

As with the Pen feature, in order to enable the Pointer, you need to be in a Live mode first.

Installation UI

We introduced a new UI for our installation view. We’re now making it easier for you to see the different ways to install SessionStack in your web app and also showing you what we’ll be adding in the future in terms of installation options.
