My SET Lab Data Directory
I’ve had so much fun over the past few weeks working to collect data to support my SET Lab project, ‘Serving the Student, Not the System: Holistic Student Reports.’ Okay, so maybe nagging all of my friends, colleagues and twice removed relatives on social media isn’t always fun, but I have gotten some great feedback and usable data already, and had some incredible conversations with thought leaders and educators!
In an effort to create a one-stop-shop for my surveys, calendar links and polls, I’m creating this post to outline and link out to all of my data collection portals. So whether you’re an educator or parent (or both!), thought leader or administrator (or both!), you can find and share the information here to help me gather as much data as humanly/digitally possible.
For Families:
There are a few specific things families & caregivers can do to add to the data pool!
- Complete a short (10 minute max) survey that asks questions regarding assessments, conferences and report cards at your child’s school.
- Share your child’s report card with me! Simply email it to me at mspiezia@hamiltonparkmontessori.com (all identifying student data will be made anonymous. promise.) You can also ask your school for a blank version of their template for reports.
- Send this article to every parent, teacher & administrator you know via email, social media, carrier pigeon and telegram! The more data, the better.
- Come to our think tank discussion on 1/29 in Jersey City, NJ! If you’re local to the NYC/Hudson county area, I’m hosting a Town Hall-style meeting to chat with families from the area. Click here to RSVP (we’ll have free coffee!!)
For Educators & Administrators:
