Welcome to the twelfth Set Community Update! In these updates, we’ll give an overview of everything that happened in the Set universe over the last month including new product releases, community and media engagements, growth metrics, partnerships, where we’ve been and more. Let’s dive in!

News and Product Releases

Punia Added to the Set Team

Punia joined the team at the beginning of June to help us scale our operational and strategy endeavors.

Upgraded Robo Sets Launched

These upgraded Robo Sets take advantage of the new chunked rebalance infrastructure (TWAP) that leads to less slippage during rebalances.

Argent Adds More Sets

Most of the Sets that are available on TokenSets are now available on the Argent mobile wallet app.

Performance Against BTC Added

You can now view the performance of all Sets against BTC on TokenSets.

BTC RSI Crossover Yield Set Launched

The BTCRSIAPY implements a crossover strategy on the BTC Simple RSI indicator and attempts to accumulate BTC. This is the first RoboSet that auto trades the BTC/USD pair.

Treasury Management for DAOs

We put together a blog post that gives an overview of how DAOs can take advantage of Sets infrastructure to manage their treasuries.

Set Protocol Subgraph Launched

Developers can now use this subgraph to query data about Sets for their DeFi app, wallet, or data aggregator.

Fiat to Set Feature Launched on Transak

You can now use global.transak.com to go straight from fiat (debit card) to a Set.

Social Trader Updates

  • Josh Olszewicz (CarpeNoctom) joined as a Social Trader
  • Georgii Verbitskii joined as a Social Trader
  • Mountains & Valleys joined as a Social Trader
  • Jesse Livermore joined TokenSets as a Social Trader (he also created a visualization of his strategy here)
  • George Cotsikis joined as a Social Trader
  • Social Trader Aaron Kruger (Moonshot Capital) launched his ETH/BTC Price Action Candlestick Set, updated his TokenViz website and wrote a piece about candlestick price action risks
  • Social Trader Eric Juta launched his LINK/ETH Growth Alpha Set (and created a new website called XbeforeY.com). We also posted Eric Juta’s AMA recap here.
  • CoffeeTimes joined TokenSets as a Social Trader
  • Social Trader Reuptake launched his new 100 Waves ETH/USD Ether Hoard Set
  • Social Trader Grant (SmartHODL) put together an app that helps people trade crypto futures
  • Social Trader Tradespot (Andrew) built a TA charts website

Set in the Media

Set made various appearances in the media over the last month:

  • DeFi Dad put together a video tutorial on how to compare the performance of LINK-based Sets
  • A blog post was written about Social Trader ByteTree’s BTC Network Demand Set II
  • Set Protocol was featured in Issue #25 of the Our Network newsletter
  • Zerion wrote a piece about DeFi Taxes and included TokenSets
  • The DeFi.cx team wrote a post about top DeFi projects and included TokenSets
  • DeFi Rate covered the upgraded Robo Sets launch
  • TokenSets was featured on the Ledger Status podcast
  • CoinList wrote a piece on what you can do with your WBTC and included TokenSets
  • Mempoole wrote a “how to earn crypto” spotlight using TokenSets as an example
  • Interaxis put together a video explaining TokenSets

Growth

Set Protocol’s vault grew slightly during June with AUV increasing from $14.2 to $15.6mil.
