The Power of Showing Up

How Showing Up in Our Marketing and with Our Sex Coaching Clients Helps Us Succeed

--

One of the most important things a sex coach can do is to Show Up. Being present, being seen, and being attentive are all vital to two aspects of our careers: our marketing and our direct work with clients.

Show Up on Social Media To Increase Prospects’ Trust

Social media can be a powerful way to connect with prospective clients.

social media is a platform for connection and for relating with one another. It’s not supposed to be primarily for marketing, but if you use it correctly, you can successfully promote your services with this medium. Since connection is the main focus, it’s important to realize that your audience wants to see you, they want to hear your words, they long to “peek behind the curtain” and get glimpses of your real life.

As sex coaches or as people interested in sex coaching, we can appreciate the power of connection and in building relationships.

Only by showing up and being genuine can you hope to increase the Know, Like, and Trust factor in your audience. This factor (known as K-L-T in marketing circles) is what convinces your prospective clients and customers that you are worth buying from or working with.

Show Up with Your Clients In the Room

Showing up is also critical when you’re working with a client.

When you’re in session with someone, you have to be authentic, you have to be mindfully present, and you have to create a rapport. These are all ways of showing up with a client and they are all necessary to develop a healing/helping relationship with the person/people in front of you.

The more you can show up in your marketing, the more your clients will trust that you’ll show up with them when they make an appointment.

Sexuality is a topic that is scary for many people. Developing trust is absolutely vital before someone can open up, share, and take in positive messages about whatever aspect of sexuality they’re struggling with.

So how will you show up today? We’d love to see your beautiful faces in our public Facebook group, Sex Matters. Share a selfie with us and tell us how you show up — in your marketing, with your clients, or in your life, in general!
