What I Learned About Beauty From Women in Brazil
There's a lot to learn from them
“Can you count the number of soccer balls around us?” my friend asked.
“One. Three. Five. Nine.”
Nine. There were nine groups of people around us playing beach soccer. Men, women — all focused on kicking the ball with their perfect bodies.
While my friend brought attention to the ball, I was lost in contemplation of the perfectly fit and proportioned Brazilian bodies.
It wasn’t a myth. Brazilians take their body care seriously, exuding grace and confidence.
Is it because they know they have to show it at the beach? Or is it because since childhood, they are used to being in a swimsuit at the beach, catching waves, diving under, playing beach ball, and going to the gym?
I was amazed by the confidence of the men and women playing beach football, with their perfectly shaped bodies and tiny bikinis.
“How do you think Brazilians take care of their bodies?” I asked my American friend.
“I don’t know, ask them.”
Challenge accepted. I stood up and headed towards a woman in a bikini, standing a few meters ahead with her perfect bikini body.
