The trouble with Young Women
There she goes… giving me that look. Peeking out of the corner of her eye under her baseball cap as she walks by with her yoga mat slung over her shoulder. Damn… then glancing back again with that Mona Lisa half smile… an invitation?
Girl, don’t do that… it’s not fair… I’m more than twice your age. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the look, the possibilities, the momentary flirtation that makes a man my age feel 20 years younger.
But 20 years ago girls like you weren’t interested… I never got these kind of looks, from these kind of hot young women. Ok, a few… but not like now, now that there’s a little grey to my hair.
And by the way… I’m not impressed with the body. Yes, you look good… but It’s easy to look toned, cute and sexy when you’re young… try keeping it looking like that when you’re in your 40s, then I’ll be impressed.
Speaking of age… with that comes a little wisdom. And restraint. As my good friend said while we were in the Greek Islands…
