In a study that looked at couples and horror movies, researcher James B. Weaver found that if an attractive man goes to a horror movie with a woman who is considered average looking, she will look more attractive to him if she behaves like she’s scared to death. However, if she acts as if the movie is silly and doesn’t faze her, she will lose attractiveness points with her date.
