“Doing what, John?”
“Lying in bed all day, looking so helpless. You don’t have to do it anymore.”
“Whatever do you mean?”
“It isn’t necessary, my love.”
“But I’m so sick most of the time!”
“Oh, Anne, haven’t you figured out that I’ve always known you were faking the vapors to get me into bed?”
