My spouse and I completed a set of minor repairs around the house that needed fixing for a while. We installed an extra towel rack in the guest bath, added a flow control value to a hand shower, fixed a broken light fixture, replaced the pool cleaner, etc. These are the small things homeowners often ignore until they are ready to sell their homes. We are not selling, just keeping our lovely home nice. We rewarded ourselves with a delicious brunch, margaritas, and mid-day sex.
You can tell we are an old married couple by our coordinated set of actions. I got a clean set of sheets while my spouse made the frozen margaritas. I quickly whipped up roast beef quesadillas with roasted asparagus.
The internet allowed us to find a movie. We put the clean sheets on the bed, undressed, and climbed in, both of us grinning about the special reward of having sex in the afternoon in the middle of the week. We were both extremely excited about the nap we would take after the action stopped.
