Words are Arousing
How the brain-vagina connection stimulates creative output.
There are writers whose words get me going even if they aren’t particularly lascivious. There is something about the way a person’s mind works, and the way they put words on a page that gives you a glimpse into their soul.
It’s the same feeling for me as when I please a lover, and they are about to orgasm. If you catch that look in your lover’s eyes in the instant before they climax, you’ll understand. You get to know a part of someone that you will never forget.
There are a few writers on Medium whose words do this to me, and I can only strive to do the same for a few of my readers. I’ve been thinking about why writing affects me so deeply and makes me feel sexy in a way that doesn’t make sense. As I said, it can happen even when the words I’m reading have nothing to do with sex.
Writing makes me feel powerful; feeling powerful inspires more creativity, and that makes me feel sexy as hell.
These are the writers who write the way they speak. When you read their work, it is as if you are sitting at a coffee shop sipping espresso listening to them spill their wisdom; or tell a story. You can almost imagine their intonation as they say these…
