Physically — not sexually — disabled …

‘It can be a challenge due to the three and a half foot height difference.’

As a 3-foot-4-inch woman in a wheelchair, married to a 6-foot-2-inch man, I am accustomed to the stares my husband and I receive when we’re out in public.
Am I offended?
No — I get it.
We’re intriguing, to say the least, and admittedly I’d stare too, if I didn’t know any better.

I often imagine the questions people have when they discover we are together, particularly in regards to sex (hey, I would be curious too).

'Are you sexually active?' 'Is it difficult?' 'What positions can you do?' 'Does it feel different?'

Of course, no one has ever come out and asked me these questions, but I am sure if I've thought about it, others have as well - so allow me to oblige and answer them.

Are you sexually active?

Yes. Extremely. For the most part, being disabled doesn't automatically rule out a healthy sex drive or life. In my case, having brittle bones means I have to be careful about being too aggressive (although I find pleasure in a little pain). My husband and I have learned how rough is too rough through experience, because I am constantly testing my limits.

Is sex difficult?

Conventionally, No. Although I am short, my vagina is as easily penetrated as any other adult woman’s. My husband is well endowed and we fit together like two perfect puzzle pieces. There is also oral sex, which for us, is easily enjoyable. I never thought I would be able to stomach the taste of cum, but my husband’s immense and often expressed satisfaction with what I do makes the act and taste a sweet-salty treat. The only complications we have sexually are my desire to be aggressive versus the need to be careful and the limited positions we’re able to do as a result of height difference.

What positions can you do?

We try to get creative, though it can be a challenge due to the 3-and-a-half-foot height difference. Usually, I am on top, but with a little practice we have mastered four positions. My personal favorite is being fucked from behind. It's all about using your imagination and doing what feels comfortable for you and your partner.

Does it feel different?

This question is one that I consider in terms of do people wonder how it feels to have sex with a normal woman versus someone with my limitations? I would like to be able to say having sex with me would be like fucking any other woman, but the truth is I am not any other woman - I am different; my body is short, uniquely shaped, but that doesn’t diminish my confidence or prevent me from having a passionately robust and healthy sex life.
