I love that condoms allow me to explore my sexuality while protecting me from STDs, but sex with one can be a frustrating experience.

Hubby and I realized after our first visit to a swinger club that he was going to need to figure out the condom situation after seven years of monogamy. He wasn’t used to sex with condoms. This caused some erectile dysfunction and embarassment. So, off we went on a search through the family planning section of our local pharmacy.

Condoms, just like penises, are different sizes.

Wearing a condom that is the wrong size can lead to condom failure or loss of an erection. It can also prevent you from having an orgasm. At swinger parties and clubs, erectile dysfunction is more common than people realize. Most of it is because people aren’t used to condoms after having barrier-free sex with their marital partner for years.

Our solution to this problem was to buy an assortment of condoms so that Hubby could practice. He would masturbate with them occasionally, and we’d have sex with them as well. This trial and error helped us figure out the condom thing.
