It was a day to “talk business” yesterday, as we welcomed BSC’s Quick Start Agile Management course participants at our office to share knowledge with the aspiring professionals of the field.

Established in 1994, BSC (Business Support Centre) is the first business consulting company in Armenia.

BSC is collaborating with well-known international organizations, large corporations, SMEs and NGOs by providing management consulting, professional development and research services. It also actively promotes the application of innovative technologies in the companies across Armenia.

One of the programs that was aired under the guidance of BSC is the Quick Start School. This school is aimed at young professionals who wish to kickstart their careers in a number of domains. The visit to SFL took place in the scope of one of Quick Start’s courses on agile development.

The Master class was run by SFL’s agile project management starlets- Margarita Gevorgyan and Anna Hovakimyan.

The session ran around SFL’s projects and how a project management approach is typically chosen based on project scale and specifications. We also had a chance to speak about the main approaches in agile, the current tools and much more.

The session was followed with an interactive Q&A section that would answer the participants’ questions. The energy with which the Quick Start team participated in the session was really inspiring.

We hope this turns into a recurring experience and given the brightness of the rising talent in the field we really have great aspirations for the development of this domain in Armenia.
