Meet Hakob. It’s nearly a year that he is an SFLian and there are a few things about this guy that fascinate us!

But before that, let me just tell you that Hakob and his Mom participated at the Global Game Jam Armenia 2019 this year and even got a nice prize from Arloopa!

“Mom was drawing the 2D art, and I was programming.”

Hakob is extremely modest especially when it comes to his accomplishments. He doesn’t love to speak about himself too much.

He is currently trying to assemble his own 3D printer. But he loves showing the results of his work only after all is 100% ready (so stay tuned for this one!).

We had a quick Q&A session to find out more about Hakob’s lifestyle. And here are the answers:

How long have you been doing Java?

— I’ve been doing it since 2016. But I started as an Android developer actually.

What are you working on right now?

— I’m at #teamGreetz, particularly in Greetz Loyalty Squad. Greetz is an online platform for buying personalized gifts. Our squad is responsible for making customers more loyal.

What do you like most about SFL?

The most valuable things here are the great professionals, the friendly teams and the interesting project I’m working on!

Any hobbies?

I’m a big fan of martial arts. I used to do Jiu-Jitsu when I was a student at YSU. A few years later, I started to practice Wing Chun, which is a Chinese martial art created by a woman. Wing Chun had a lot of influence on my life philosophy. Overall, I have been practicing martial arts for 7 years.

Hakob is looking for a colleague to join him at SFL.
