AZURE: TELLING THE CLOUD STORY
Microsoft’s Azure Cloud Platform is telling the cloud stories recently with its innovative approach in improving cloud computing services.
Azure is a cloud computing platform with a set of services to help you build solutions on the cloud smoothly while meeting your business goals.
Of cos, what are you expecting to hear? A smooth definition will always come first, but Azure is beyond just a definition.
Azure’s core compute model, network, storage, database services, cloud security best practices, or exploring the cutting edge in IoT and machine learning can’t be overemphasized.
Azure services range from simple web services for hosting your business presence in the cloud to running fully virtualized computers for you to run your custom software solutions.
WHY AZURE:
Azure’s cloud computing model provides efficient delivery of computing services over the internet by using a pay-as-you-go pricing model. You typically pay only for the cloud services you use, which helps you:

- Run your infrastructure more efficiently.

- Build on your terms and choices: Azure has support for all languages and frameworks, you can build how you want and deploy where you want to

Azure provides a wealth of cloud-based services like remote storage, database hosting, and centralized account management. Azure also offers new capabilities like AI and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Azure is a continually expanding set of cloud services that help your organization meet your current and future business challenges. Azure gives you the freedom to build, manage, and deploy applications on a massive global network using your favourite tools and frameworks.
How does Azure Works?

The Azure portal is a web-based, unified console that provides an alternative to command-line tools. With the Azure portal, you can manage your Azure subscription by using a graphical user interface(GUI). With this, you will be able to:
- Build, manage, and monitor everything from simple web apps to complex cloud deployments.
- Create custom dashboards for an organized view of resources.
- Configure accessibility options for an optimal experience.
- Visit the marketplace and more.
The Azure portal is designed for resiliency and continuous availability. It maintains a presence in every Azure datacenter. This configuration makes the Azure portal resilient to individual datacenter failures and avoids network slowdowns by being close to users.
Note that the Azure portal updates continuously and requires no downtime for maintenance activities. (Watimagbo!!!)
CONCLUSION:
