Shahid offers Shahid VIP subscriptions through Fawry’s 140,000 service outlets across Egypt
Shahid partners up with Fawry to facilitate different payment methods for customers in Egypt to acquire Shahid VIP subscriptions
With Shahid VIP subscription cards, and the service of paying the monthly plans for its wide audience through more than 140,000 outlets for Fawry and Fawry Plus, Shahid aims to achieve the ease and convenience of subscribing to Shahid VIP.
Johannes Larcher, Managing Director of Digital and Video on Demand services at MBC Group, stressed the importance of cooperation with Fawry, a pioneer in digital transformation and electronic payments, saying: “New payment methods provide Shahid users access to different subscription cards and the ability to pay monthly, annual and other plans through over 140,000 Fawry outlets through cash or credit card payments’’.
Larcher indicated that this new cooperation with Fawry will facilitate viewers in Egypt to subscribe to Shahid VIP, and enjoy the unique and distinctive content during the Ramadan season and beyond, through multiple payment and subscription options to suit the needs, conditions and location of each customer.
On the other hand, Ahmed Nader, Head of Commercial of Fawry said: “This partnership with Shahid comes from Fawry’s belief of the necessity to reach the largest number of users, and facilitate payment methods, knowing that Fawry is not limited to providing payment methods for government services and invoices only, but also by providing payment solutions for entertainment, like booking a movie ticket and paying monthly subscriptions for video streaming platforms, most importantly Shahid VIP.”
