They have helped us accomplish a major step in our mission to build the most valuable ecosystem and the most mutually benefiting collaborations to make better food happen.
We are proud and honored to have been given the opportunity to imagine, unveil, discover, invent, build or grow some of the solutions of the future of food with hundreds forward thinking people, startups, corporations, investors, experts… all around the world and we look forward to make it even better this year!

The achievement of the year

  • Our ecosystem is now rich of 125+ international partners, startups, corporations, organizations and investment funds
  • We conducted 60+ open innovation projects, 1:1 acceleration programs or funding rounds on behalf of them this past year
  • We organized 10+ international contests, conferences or learning expeditions
  • We connected with 500+ foodtech startups and experts worldwide

Food revolution is the new normal, startups are native and leaders of it: and it’s very hard for our teams to adjust to it.
It’s not the model that is broken: it’s just our old model is over.
We need to learn about the future and it can only be with startups.
We should not oppose startups and big food, but build together, as a startup you think on the long term. We cannot make this revolution alone.
There’s never been a more important time for the food industry as we need to invent the sustainable solutions that people are asking for the future and it will be hard.

2018 also is a year of consecration for French foodtech with record fund raisings and M&A, showing that the environment is more mature than ever!
We could count more than 50 rounds for French foodtech and agtech startups in 2018, not taking into account some late deals not counted yet (and the ones that have stayed under the radar).
