Some people can’t stand philosophy. Some people can’t take a stand on anything. Some people would rather prefer to sit on the fence. Some people like to talk. Some people like to listen. Some people like to walk the talk. Some people neither like talking, walking or listening. Some people are born wise. Some people earn wisdom with years. Some people believe in growing. Some people expend themselves on destroying others. Some people are innately warm. Some people can freeze Sahara. Some people are easily fooled. Some people are foolish enough to think that they are smart. Some people are always lucky. Some people are never going to make it. Some people prefer to stay oblivious of the truth. Some people invest too much in lies. Some people are the reason why the sun wakes up every morning. Some people are the reason why it’s dark at night. Some people won’t tell you when you’re mistaken. Some people will point out your flaws. Some people will gossip behind your back. Some people will turn into a mirror for you. Some people are busy making this world a finer place to live. Some people are busy making money. Some people are poor in their mistakes. Some people are rich in their learning. Some people act like they are wealthy but are owned by banks. Some people can’t do without reading. Some people can’t do without watching. Some people can’t do without knowing more. Some people can do without all these things. Some people eat to fill their stomach. Some people eat to fill their emptiness. Some people eat to stay alive. Some people are genuinely horrible. Some people are effortlessly kind. Some people care about those who don’t. Some people are reminisced for their work. Some people are remembered for their words. Some people are forgotten by us. Some people are living it up. Some people are breathing heavily but are dead inside. Some people simply fade away. Some people create noise wherever they go. Some people embrace silence like long-lost friends. Some people find it hard to express themselves. Some people express themselves more vividly than a colour. Some people continue to love others irrespective of what happened. Some people would give Narcissus a complex. Some people have set conditions in place. Some people break rules on a daily basis. Some people keep hoarding until there’s no space left. Some people are the epitome of generosity. Some people hate others blindly. Some people run as far as they can from the world. Some people reach the corners of this flat world. Some people opine on everything. Some people keep quiet. Some people lust after youth. Some people accept their greys like a crown. Some people have too much time to waste. Some people don’t like wearing a watch. Some people work harder than their hearts. Some people have become one with their couch. Some people are seeking to locate their soul. Some people don’t remember selling theirs but they have. Some people must have stopped reading this tripe after the first two lines. Some people are like you.
NB. Thanks to the sticky webs of generalization and unreliable statistics, there is no consensus anymore. The axioms swing between ‘some’ and ‘most’. And most of the time, some win.
