“What do you hope to get out of your thesis?”

Seems like an easy question to answer, but the more work I put into it, the less clear it becomes. I hope to design a compelling narrative about student debt and how it affects access to opportunity and shapes the choices people make in leading a fulfilling life, but I also want to build a real pragmatic solution. I want people to believe that my solution could actually work and support an attempt to bring it to life after thesis is over. I want to work on social issues that can use the help of design thinking, and my thesis should be a good case study if its done right. I see a possible career in the government sector as different organizations are slowly beginning to adopt design thinking to help make their services more human-centered and there is immense potential to positively affect the lives of millions of people.
