Teen gets stuck while attempting Chinese internet’s latest dumb fitness challenge
Firefighters had to be called in to rescue her from her own bed
As well as mocking Thai greeters for their forced smiles, Douyin users have also been going gaga recently over the latest Chinese internet challenge — though it’s not for everybody.
In order to show off their slender frames, female users of the popular short video app have been shooting clips of themselves nimbly squeezing through the rails of their dorm room beds.
However, when one high school student in the Zhejiang city of Jiande tried to pull off this feat, she found herself firmly stuck between the bars, unable to get out. Firefighters had to be called in to rescue her from her own bed.
While this incident can’t have been good for the teen’s self-confidence, we would like to remind everyone that you don’t need an “A4 Waist” or “iPhone 6 Legs” to be beautiful. In fact, if you never take part in one of these silly challenges, most people will probably think better of you.
