WATCH: Heavy winds bring decorative column crashing down on Shanghai bus
Fortunately, the incident occurred early in the morning and no one was hurt

Gale-force winds sweeping through Shanghai ripped a decorative column from a building yesterday morning, causing it to fall straight down onto a moving public bus.
The incident occurred at around 6:30 am outside of the Ocean Towers building on Yan’an East Road. The pillar broke into two, while the unfortunate number 71 bus was heavily damaged.
Fortunately, because the incident happened so early in the morning, only a few passengers were on the bus at the time and no one was injured.
On Sunday afternoon, similarly strong winds caused part of the roof to collapse outside of the arrival hall of the Nanchang Changbei International Airport in Jiangxi province. No one was injured or killed in that accident as well.
