The driver’s quick thinking likely saved lives
When a public bus in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province slammed into another vehicle and crashed headlong into a river last week, a crane driver on his break across the street rushed to the rescue. After seeing what had happened, he immediately maneuvered the crane next to the river and pulled all four people on board to safety.
The video has been posted and forwarded all over the Chinese internet, winning praise for the quick-thinking driver.
In other valiant rescues this week, a man in Hebei rushed to rescue an old woman who had fallen into a frozen river by breaking through the ice with his bare hands.
