Weather reporter seemingly hasn’t aged a day in 22 years on the job
The woman has been dubbed an ‘ageless goddess’ by Chinese netizens
A lot has certainly changed over the past 22 years, but there is at least one thing that has remained the same.
Here’s Yang Dan, a famous CCTV weather reporter, during her first show all the way back in 1996:
And here she is today, at the age of 44:
To celebrate International Women’s Day last week, CCTV posted a video on social media showing Yang’s transformation over the years — or lack thereof. The clip has caused netizens to dub the television meteorologist an “ageless goddess.”
“I grew up watching her broadcasts. I’m now old. How has she not changed a bit?” wondered one web user.
It’s not clear what Yang’s secret is: whether she has discovered the fabled Fountain of Youth, concocted an anti-aging elixir long sought after by China’s emperors, or if she is simply a vampire.
Suppose we’ll have to check back with her in 2040.
