Trying to get her little doggy back to her hometown in Gansu province, a Wuhan college student went online and bought herself a fake pregnant belly.

Last Thursday, the 21-year-old arrived at the Wuhan Tianhe International Airport with her puppy concealed inside of the silicone prosthetic. Unfortunately, her nervousness caught the attention of officers at the airport’s security check, causing them to pull her aside for closer inspection.

When the woman’s “pregnant” belly began to move rather drastically, police were called in. Knowing that the jig was up, she was forced to then reveal her little bundle of joy.

According to the Hubei Daily, the woman was fined for attempted deception, though the report does not state the amount. Reportedly, this was the first case of its kind at the Wuhan airport.
