November is National Diabetes Awareness Month. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that over 100 million Americans have diabetes or prediabetes. This risk of the serious disease can can be reduced by maintaining a healthy diet and staying active physically.

Prepare and Plan Your Meals

Cooking meals in bulk and storing them in individual containers make for quick and easy meals during the week, and it’ll also minimize running through the drive-thru for dinner on the way home from work. Along with the convenience, you have the ability to make it nutritious with protein, veggies, and healthy fats.

Find A Fitness Routine

Whether it’s the gym, home fitness equipment, or just going for a run or stroll, it’s important to find a way to be active and adhere to that schedule. If you work in a sedentary environment, try to get at least 30 minutes of light activity per day.

Low-Sugar Beverages
