Dr. Tat Lam was invited to deliver a speech at ITRC Forum 2018.

With the advent of new technologies, things can be detected more quickly and analyzed in greater detail. However, the use of new technologies also poses security risks and raise unprecedented challenges. In such context, NGOs need to incorporate intelligent systems to engage and serve their clients, and to streamline their operations in a secure platform.

Dr. Tat Lam, in his speech about SZC’s featured decentralised blockchain technologies, indicated that in the near future NGOs may engage social impact bond, community currency and consensus impact metrics to achieve a better service delivery to the needy in our community.

Other topics discussed at the ITRC Forum 2018 included procurement digitisation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, future workplace digital transformation, etc.
