Test Network Reset
As announced in the previous update, the team were considering the option to merge the planned COSv2.1 functions into COSv2.0 and release them together, with the main upgrade functions for COSv2.1 being to open the clients mining function to ordinary VPS and server nodes to enable network growth at an exponentially faster rate, creating a much larger, competitive storage network, broader network security and stability, broader offerings and very strong token demand.
*An incredible amount of work has been done (on many fronts) by the team and all involved, amazingly bringing the above to fruition!
The fully merged COSv2.0/v2.1 beta is currently being internally tested by Rudi on VPS servers with very promising results thus far.
We are also currently in the process of testing on a broader range of linux operating systems.
Hub upgrade internal testing is also imminent.
User Guides, Forms and Processes
In unison with the above we are currently writing user guides with an aim to ensure clear, simple implementation to the end user.
We are also setting up miner registration forms and mining processes.
Open Network Testing
Once the team are comfortable with the above processes we will invite a number of community members to help with final testing.
Contract Upgrade and Deployment
Contract upgrade is due soon. Firstly, we will deploy the contract and test the bridge [SS > ETH/SS > TRC/SS etc].
An agreement is in place with a new exchange and deployment to the TRX network will be announced following the contract upgrade.
The team were initially pushing ahead of schedule, however the merging of functions with COSv2.0/2.1 and extra workload required was seen to be paramount for more immediate and sustainable token appreciation, growth and node uptake.
These steps, importantly in the right sequence will help with access to new investors by lowering GAS type fees and increasing liquidity.
Even though we are a little behind it is really exciting to be testing the network with very good results thus far!
