This week, I am offering the “Cool award” to the City Surf Project!

City Surf Project is a non-profit in San Francisco that offers the opportunity to local teenagers to go surfing in Ocean Beach and Pacifica.

The participants are definitely not your average surfer. They come from low-incomes families. They never saw the ocean for most of them. They come from ethnic minorities. Or simply.. they are girls.

City Surf Project founders believe that surfing is not only a super mega fun activity but has healing virtues. Taking your surfboard in the ocean is a meditation in which you can put aside the scars of life and dance with the wave.

You can find more information about their mission and program on their website http://citysurfproject.com and follow their Instagram @citysurfproject.

I think that nothing is cooler than local initiatives designing creative solutions to improve the City Life…

Go show some support and Love ❤
And share the cool ❤ ❤
