“One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”

Ok, we are not landing on the moon, but this is a big step for us. The relaunch of the newsletter. 14 weeks of producing my own Share The Love news has now developed into this.

Our editors have been swamped, but not all by pieces from you guys. Some have had lots to do with full-time jobs, others have been dealing with the pressures of home and some are doing fantastic work with organisations such as FEMA. Even so, we are still going.

Don’t forget to visit our publication and check out the new pieces coming out.

The Impromptu Prompt

We have had a huge amount of responses to this challenge and are still getting them in. So, to make it fair as we haven’t finished reading them yet, we will extend the challenge for another week.

Curated on STL

Every two weeks we go through the pieces on STL and check to see which ones have been curated. All of these can be found here.

Our Editors

As we get bigger and better we need our editors. They ensure they your pieces read well, conform to our submission guidelines and conform to curation guidelines.

Here are some short bio’s about a few of our editors.

Shaheena Chowdhury

Shaheena Chowdhury is a business graduate, CELTA-qualified teacher, writer, poet, and proud mother to a Spider-man fan. Her interests include Bangladeshi heritage, baking, creative writing, personal development, and public speaking. When she’s not planning lessons, editing for Share The Love, or whipping up a meal; you’ll find her taking snapshots of her son’s crafts, reading a self-help book, or solving Sudoku.

Victor Sarkin

Victor Sarkin comes from a long background of clinical writing at various universities in Australia and an academic background at the University of Oxford, UK. Residing in Australia, he now writes professionally for corporations and indulges his other interests in the areas of poetry, fiction, and a smattering of non-fiction. His favourite topics to write about include, love and intimacy, crime and mystery, as well as observations in the world around him. He joined Medium in May 2020 and is an editor for ‘Share The Love’, ‘Genius in a Bottle’ and ‘BeingWriters’.

If you would like to be an editor on STL then email submissionsstl@gmail.com with a short bio about yourself and why you want to be an editor.

Sharing The Love

As our name suggests, we enjoy sharing the love of your work. We have employed a system that automatically shares all work on Facebook and Twitter and is now looking to bring that into Slack. Hopefully, soon we can announce a new slack channel to share, discuss and improve your work and our services.
