#OBS18: Full results of new provincial poll now available online

Ontarians support investments in cycling infrastructure

Share the Road’s newest provincial poll was released on Wednesday, April 18th at the 10th Annual Ontario Bike Summit. A full overview of the results is now available online, along with infographics of some of the key findings.

Overall, the results show that there is a demand amongst Ontario residents to cycle more and to live in communities that promote cycling and active transportation.

Ontarians want it to be more convenient to take their bikes on buses

Conducted by Nanos, the poll found that 67% of Ontarians agree that the province should invest in cycling infrastructure and that 42% are more likely to vote for a candidate who makes a public commitment to funding bike infrastructure.

The release of the poll was also featured in the Toronto Star.
