I blame my mother.

To be honest, one of the greatest gifts my mother gave me was an interest in creativity. She taught me how to sew (by hand, of course, not on her beautiful old Singer), how to knit and how to bake. Strangely, she never taught me how to cook.

Since then, I’ve tried my hand at numerous crafts, from Papercrafts to Wood-turning, Sewing to Knitting and Crochet. I turn my photographs into digital works of art and paint in a variety of media.

Sewing is one activity I would call a true hobby, as I never create to sell. All the clothes, quilts and accessories I make are for my family. I love making items out of really good fabrics with adorable prints.
