As the first in my family to go through society’s education system, I value learning. I love education. Learning new things is the greatest thrill in life. There is nothing like it… aside from success. Success is also a feat many yearn. It is noble to have a well paying job that provides you financial security and the ability to sustain life and the well being of your loved ones. But is that all there is to life?

Success is oh so coveted, but man is it misunderstood.

Success is that point at the end of the road by which you put in all you have to reach.

Well, that’s wrong. I’m sorry I promoted that statement. Success is most definitely not one point in life. Instead, its the ten meter mark on the track; its the thirtieth meter, the twenty-third mile of the course, and it continues until you quit dreaming of reaching higher. What it is not, what many people have wrongly been led to believe it is, is a single point at the end of the road.

There was a time when society failed me and you. That moment was when it told you that you have to take out massive loans, go to college, stress through hours of busy work, and get that degree. Graduate in three to eight years, may…
