Last week ShareRing had our Hong Kong Launch Party, where we were joined by our Pitchfest winning teams who got to join Team ShareRing at the launch and got to pitch their sharing economy business ideas to the crowd present at the party. One of the conditions of the pitchfest challenge was to give a five minute pitch to the audience at our launch. It is a brave step to stand up and give your idea to a bunch of strangers, and ShareRing applauds the teams for their willingness to take the step to support their business creation journey!
Team Ilya and Max, from Prague said, “We are grateful for this opportunity to step on board and help people all over the world together with ShareRing! We loved meeting the team in Hong Kong — they are all so enthusiastic and dedicated about the project itself, but also just very outgoing people! We have also had productive meetings about the next steps of developing CookLikeChef, so that we can successfully launch in November. We really enjoyed the launch event, where we presented our pitch, because of its incredible atmosphere and the amount of interesting people we have met there! We are really looking forward to the next months of mutual cooperation with ShareRing and to making sure that it really becomes life-changing!”.
Team Math and Nina from Germany, expressed similar words, “We are very thankful for the invitation and the mentoring Tim and the whole ShareRing Team offered. Meeting the team, the developers and to hear their stories was very informative! The event itself was just amazing, in every aspect! The location, the speakers, the catering. The perfect launch party and a great opportunity for us to pitch in front of so many influential people! We liked especially the internationality of the audience and the posssibilities for networking afterwards!”.
The evening was filled with fun, food, and drinks with lots of mingling amongst the guests that were present. It looked like our winners had a good night! We are excited to be working with them on their projects in the future of ShareRing! Good job guys and congratulations again.
