ShareRing Attends Hanoi Blockchain Conference
In September, two of our development team members, Trang and Tan, got the chance to attend the first official public-private dialogue about cryptocurrencies development and regulation for Vietnam, called ‘The Cryptocurrency & Digital Assets Dialogue’. This event is following the massively successful Blockchain Festival Vietnam, that was co-organized with Huobi.
This event was endorsed by the Vietnam Ministry of Justice, and was intended for blockchain companies, law regulators and capital venture to discuss how to regulate blockchain related activities. Blockchain companies were also able to showcase their current development status and look for potential collaborations and investments.
With 1500+ attendees and 40 blockchain companies present, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement about the potential for blockchain technology. Some companies that were in attendance were Kyber Network, Huobi, ICO Rating, TomoChain and Kambria, to name a few.
Vitalik Buterin, the creator of Ethereum was also present and spoke about mechanism design covering philosophies, methods and techniques to design a reliable, stable and secure system (aka blockchain).
The event was for experts and like-minded individuals to come together to discuss proper ways to regulate cryptocurrencies and the use of blockchain within Vietnam. They discussed that within the coming years, more and more research within the blockchain space will be coming into practice, and different layers will be deployed on blockchain platforms. It was also a ground for many new blockchain companies to introduce their ideas without concrete implementation and learn from those who are further along.
