ShareRing Attends Malta Blockchain Summit
ShareRing recently attended the Malta Blockchain Summit, the biggest blockchain focused event in Malta, where ShareRing is domiciled. CEO & co-founder Tim Bos and COO & co-founder Rohan Le Page, were the two representatives of ShareRing throughout the duration of the event.
Held at the Intercontinental Hotel, the event kicked off the evening of October 31st and continued until the evening of November 3rd. The schedule was packed full with conferences, speeches, ICO pitches and ample discussions about blockchain, tokenomics and crypto, and marketing and investments. You can check out the agenda here.
With 8500 attendees, the event was bustling with excitement and full of like-minded individuals with passions of blockchain and the wonders it can provide. A few of the bigger names that were in attendance included the Prime Minister of Malta, Hon. Joseph Muscat, John McAfee and W. Scott Stornetta. You can view the entire list of speakers here.
The ShareRing booth was in a great location on the conference floor, close to all of the ICO businesses and other conference rooms. ShareRing took part in the blockchain pitch competition, and were amongst 40 other competitors. During Tim’s pitch, he announced some exciting news about ShareRing, released a new demonstration video and highlighted some of the features that will be implemented in 2019. More details regarding this will be released at a later date. You can watch Tim’s pitch here.
ShareRing held a 500,000 ShareToken giveaway that was specific to the Malta Blockchain Summit attendees. To qualify for the giveaway, those attending the event needed to scan the QR codes we had on our banner and t-shirts, or leave their business card with Tim and Rohan and then enter their details to sign up for the ShareRing Newsletter. Once we gather all the information needed, we will be choosing 50 lucky winners at random, and they will be notified via the email address they provided.
The Malta Blockchain summit was worthwhile, Tim and Rohan received great feedback about ShareRing, and have a number of potential new partnerships in the pipeline as a result of such a successful event.
