Have we gone bananas yet?
Hello Foodies!
Don’t you just love this picture of bananas? How many varieties can you see in this photo? I bet you didn’t know that there are 1000 varieties of bananas in the world! This photo was taken in San Cristobal de Las Casas in Chiapas, Mexico. I don’t know how many varieties of bananas there are in Mexico, but I remember learning that there are over 30 in Uganda. Amazing!
Another month has gone by and we have received a good number of food submissions to Sharing Food. We have stories from many parts of the globe, but the three countries that are mentioned the most are Spain, Mexico and Japan!
