Never think about $dollars in order to choose your career field

Usually when students are about to take admissions in university/college, they look for fields of high merit, from which they can earn more.
There are a lot of students who just focus on high level university, rather than field, so that they can raise their standards by showing off that they have got admission in well renowned university. Well, this is a big problem in human beings that they always look for trends and money.
According to survey results of 2013, only 27% of college grads have a major degree similar to their profession. Rest of them have different major’s field and their professional field.
But this is not the problem, in which only students should be blamed. Usually, parents also desire that their child should earn more and should choose trending profession, rather than allowing their child to select profession of his/her interest. Same goes on for teachers too. So everyone is just looking for money.
So many students have their educational career’s start with such decisions and only after few months, students begin to realize that they have chosen the field in which they have no interest. But until that time, they can’t even go back, so most of them start to think that they have wasted their life and in this way they become depressed.
Many people blame our education system in all such situations. Well, they are absolutely right as there is no career counseling in schools/colleges. Survey results for mental health problems of university students out on 1850 participants in the age range of 19–26 years, and results of Student Problem Checklist(SPCL) 2011 developed by Mahmood & Saleem to determine the prevalence rate of mental health problem among university students. Both of these results proves that lack of career counselling leads to Sense of Being Dysfunctional, Loss of Confidence, Lack of Self Regulation, and Anxiety Proneness in students. And all of them eventually results to mental disturbance.
We always criticize government and politicians, but we ourselves do nothing except rubbish talk. This is a fact that everyone can help someone, so we must care for every single person that needs our help. Let’s talk about students thinking about which educational field to choose. Professionals surely can help them. Although they are not career counselors who can help every student, but they can still counsel students of their respective fields.
But how can this be possible?
We can make it possible by sharing our experiences with youngsters and making their minds to be confusion free regarding their career field selection. And all of this can be done by social media . People are 24/7 proactive on social media going through all the news/trends. So why don’t we use it for positive work. People love to read blogs and watch videos. Even 4 years child is fully aware of social media.

Our Sharing is Caring team has decided to share our experiences about educational field of every single member. So that every student must get help from our experience sharing. And this would be by blogging and sharing informational videos on our social media platforms which are handled by respective members of our team. All this work is not for some particular time or like a part time activity, instead we will continue to write blogs and then our team will proofread them and make the blogs to be at their level best so that the students can get maximum benefits from them. And the blogs will include information from experienced professionals as well as career counselors to maintain the quality of our work. And in the uprising of our work, we will also request and motivate our connections to participate in this activity.
And I am so proud to say that we are not limited to our team members, we warmly welcome every single person who wants to join us in order to help others. So, in this way our ultimate goal is to cover blogs related to all educational fields.
Just by sharing general view of profession in the form of blog is not a big task for a professional but it will be a great work for humanity. Any student who is thinking of entering that field, but is confused about his/her interest in that field. That one post in form of blog/video will have a big impact on that student’s life.
A little help can make someone’s life full of joy instead of depression. And that student would respect you throughout his/her life, even you two don’t ever meet face to face. A well known saying “Sharing is caring”.
