Usually when students are about to take admission in university/college, they see which fields are of high merit, from which they can earn more.

There are many students who are just focusing on high level university, rather than field, so that they can raise their standards by showing that they have got the admission in that very university.

Well, this is a big problem of human beings that they always run towards trends, money. They don’t focus on what would internally satisfy them/make them happy of whatever they have done in their life. According to survey results of 2013, only 27% of college grads have a major degree similar to their profession. Rest all have different major’s field and their professional field.

But this is not the problem, in which only students should be blamed. Usually parents also desire that their child should earn more and should choose trending profession, rather than making their child select profession of his/her interest. Same goes on for teachers too. So everyone is just looking for money.

After all that, when students realize that they have chosen the field in which they have no interest, but until that time, they can’t even go back, then most of them started to think that they have wasted their many years and money and in this way they become depressed.

I know many people will start to blame our education system in which there is no career counselling. Well that’s right.

But let’s think about other options, we are on social media 24/7 going through all the news/trends.

Even 4 years child is fully aware of social media.

So why not we use it for positive work. People love to read blogs and watch videos. And for every problem, google is our best friend.

So why not people related to their profession should share the general view of their profession. May be that would not be a big thing for that person. But any student who is thinking of entering that field, but is confused about his interest or that field. That one post in form of blog/video will have a big impact on that student’s life.

And not a big project work is required for sharing our experience, but how much other’s can gain from it is unthinkable. Just think about a student who is thinking of choosing your field, but he doesn't know enough about it. If he will meet you and ask for suggestions , definitely you will help him. But what about others’ , who don’t get a chance of meeting you or somebody like you. Well in that case, your one blog/video may be helpful for that person. And that person would really respect you throughout his/her life, even you two don’t meet face to face. So, that’s what social media is. A well known saying “Sharing is caring”.

So go on man, take some free time to help others the maximum you could, definitely you will get it’s reward soon.
